Dear Long-Haired Beautiful ppl!

I feel so fortunate to have found you while surfing for some new ideas for my long tinsel hair before I go back to work in a few weeks as a 4th grade teacher. I had been teaching kindergarten for 5 years, and want to find some new ideas for styles with my long locks.

It feels nice to be among friends with long beautiful hair!

I live in area where long hair on women my age is just not acceptable--nontheless the fact that it's grey!

I happen to love and enjoy it, just like all of you do, too!

This is so refreshing.

Thank you for being here and accepting me into your wonderful long-haired world!

Sorry I can't help you with any new styles, as my hair is short for the time being :(. But I know other ladies here will be able to give you some suggestions! :)

Say, thankyou for writing! BTW hang in there--I have been where you are right now with beautiful short hair, but I have finally admitted to myself that I prefer my hair long--as long as I can grow it.

You can do it--enjoy the journey--I did--with lots of cute clips, bows, bands and conditioners. I stayed away from salons and now trim my own hair--only as needed when I see a split end...I simply snip it off.

I am also using Pantene Great Lengths shampoo and conditioner. It is wonderful.

Welcome to LongLocks! As an "older" person with long hair which has a significant amount of grey in it - I know what you are up against! ;D

How long is your hair? How have you been wearing it so far? I might be able to come up with a few new ideas for you.
