I have a question that I need to ask you all.  Has anyone here experienced getting or have hair fusions extensions????  If so, how do you apply them???  And is it really true that they break and tear your hair out, and you won't have any left???  Because, I've heard a horror story from someone on the internet that Hair Fusions causes hair breakage, and it really tears your hair out.  You end up with less hair than before you've started out wearing the fusions.  I'm just really curious and concerned.  I would really like to kmow how there are applied by the fusion gun and tools.  Thank you for your responses and advice.

I was interested in these a long time ago.  From what I understand, they somehow fuse the extension strand to the end of your hair strand...I think. :-?  It could be fused at the roots but I do know that it's done using strands and not tracks.  They also don't use glue but some other sort of bonding adhesive applied with a fusion gun.

Anyway, my stylist who I visited regularly at the time warned me against them, eventhough it was a service that she offered.  She told me that they caused major breakage. This advice came from a person who used heat, dye, bleach and all sorts of other unhealthy products on her clients hair.

I've heard that all types of extentions pull on your own hair and can pull your hair out by the root so you can be left with permanent bald spots because your hair is unable to grow back.  That's a major turn off for me.  It's sad when women have extentions done before their wedding day but on their wedding day their hairdresser has to cover up bald spots.

I know these stories may be the exception but it's not a chance I'm willing to run.  I can't imagine fusing anything to your hair can be good for it.  The horror stories are probably like dye allergy stories; It happens to a few and the results can be truly horrific and you wouldn't want it to happen to you.  

Even if you get away with it the first time, there's no guarantee it'll continue to be that way.  What about growth?  Do they unfuse them and fuse them back higher up?!  That seems like an awful lot of stress to put on your hair.

I just watched a youtube about these, and the stylist said that when they start growing out, they can cause breakage because your hair can wrap around the attatchment site and break.

I wouldn't do something like that to my hair.  It's fine and would probably break very easily.
