new here...feelin the need to get  a little support for my hair woes, and advice and encouragement.

I used to have long hair til about 17, then it got about shoulder length. Its dark and wavy, sometimes curly in certain climates. It used to be thick but now much thinner, one of my woes  :( Getting noticable near  the scalp, well to me anyway no one has commented yet to my face lol.

I used to have dreads and loved them but cut them off for a friends wedding, very short and have since grown and cut my own hair. I'll post a pic in the gallery at some point. Its now near my shoulder blades and I havnt noticed much growth since, tho I have cut it a few times ( just the dry yucky bits at the end).

Im heading to 32 (yikes) and I think my hair has gone through some significant changes due to age, hormones and having a child. Am hoping to grow some luscious locks however....I am trying to treat my hair more gently now and hoping the effort will pay off.

Any tips/advice/observations for thinning hair welcome. My hair is quite dark so Im not sure if it is more noticeable because of this.
