What is your favorite style to keep your hair safe and out of harm's way?  Whether it's during activies or going to sleep.

Interesting question. Hmmm...for me, it depends on the occasion. I fancy a funky, twisted updo for casual, day-to-day type stuff, like work, but for more festive events, I like making a double bun updo and putting little decorations in it.

I have 2 default hair styles - a single french braid and a figure 8 bun.

I use the braid when I am biking, sleeping, swimming, or otherwise active where hair sticks are either unsafe, or would fall out.

I use the figure 8 bun when I need to look professional or I am dressing up, I am working around dangerous tools, or other times that I need to limit my hair exposure.

I typically sleep with my hair in loose pigtails.

For daytime, if my hair is wet, I like to use clips on a loose pretzel bun.

If it's dry, and I'm really looking for a secure hold, I'll use a nautilus bun or any of the various variations on it.
