Smiley My parents were going to name me Talula! LOL! But they saw Star Wars while my Mum was pregnant and that's where Leia came from!

My hair has been waist length since I was about 6 or 7! About a year ago, I wanted a change so I cut it, and cut it again, and again and again and again  Cry! I think I was going mad for a while! The shortest it has been since then was bra length, which was at the end of October last year and now it's about mid-back! I've only been for one half inch trim since then since my hair is layered just at the bottom and I like to keep it neat Smiley.

Haha when my hair was that long, I never used to keep it down though! I used to do really cool buns all the time, but now I like it down and I know loads of really nice hairstyles! I like to practise on people so I go to my mother but her hair is shoulder length, layered, and dead straight so it doesn't really do much! I'm trying to get her to grow her hair for me  Tongue! For the moment I can only practise on myself, I just really really wish my hair would grow faster!

Long hair is wonderful.  Being a bartender, serving food and drink it had to be "up".  When I began to grow my hair long I decided to do my hair dos to work just like clothes, never wear the same thing (style), that same week.  I started researching braiding, (I love the ones on this site!), and just starting experimenting.  A lot of ladies that were dancers, asked me how I did certain ones, because they saw me twirl my braid around my body while I made a drink, (if the guys asked me).  I guess they wanted to incorporate a little "twirl with their twang"!!!!
