My hair is just to the top of my waist.  How do you measure it ? I mean from what point to start? I have been growing it, consciously, for about 18 months. It was then about collar-bone length. The length my bangs are now. I had it trimmed about 9  months ago and that is when I decided to not wear bangs anymore. My hair grows pretty fast, so I am going to let it keep going until it won't grow any more. Actually this hinges on whether my son can help me braid it. He is willing to try so we will see. If not I may stop at the hips or just above that.  My hair is medium brown, with some reddish highlights, some grey(temple streak too, yippee!) and is wavy with a bit of frizziness at times.

When I measure mine I measure it from the crown, more or less where my part would end if I wore one.

Now it's about 30 inches when it's dry. It seems to really enjoy being around waist-lenght...  Wink But I'm doing what I can to convince it of growing to my tailbone.  Cheesy I've been doing that seriously for maybe a year and a half and it has only gotten like 3 inches longer in that time, but at least it's in much better condition than before.  Roll Eyes
