LOL maggie!!!! OMG that's hilarious. Hope your hubby (and his hair) are ok. That rather sounds like something that would've happened to my former husband. *snicker* Oy vey...

Lisabelle: Loving Care was what I used to use in high school. It always washed out within a fortnight. The level 2 which ruined my hair was Natural Instincts.

Chilipepper: That is too weird! I definitely have a good deal of red in my hair (every strand has a red tint, actually). I have never heard that before. lol I wish I could have known that at the time!!

*shrug* I have learned a lot since the disaster. Hindsight and all...

Yes, after all of his incidents, he still has his long hair!  I cringe at the way he cares for it...VO5, Aquanet, ripping thru it while it's wet to try to comb it, twirling it, ripping knots out....all that and it looks fine.  Go figure! Tongue

Thanks NR!  I FINALLY ( with the help of BB  Wink) figured out how to change my picture.

Moonchild:  He is definetly deserving of pity, I still chuckle when I think of it, though....bad, bad, bad!!!  The ab roller incident too... (giggle, giggle!)

Oh this is terrible (terribly funny, that is) he'd be spittin' nickels if he knew he was the topic of convo. here!  But, oh yes, there was an ab-roller incident as well (...she types while laughing...), here goes:

I think most of us should be familiar with what an ab roller looks like, right?  You lay on your back, head resting on the cushion, hands above you on the bar.  OK well, he gets into position (hair once again not pulled back BTW), he lays back, rests his head...but not with his hair underneath him and against the headrest, but, he flings it out so that it is not under his head, but fanned out on the floor.  (He must like fanning his hair!) So he does his first sit up, lifting his head and his knees, me watching all-the-while, and he comes back down.  He proceeds to <attempt> to do another crunch...but wait, he can't lift his head...he's stuck!  His hair went from being fanned out behind him, to being underneath the head-rest- actually between the rest and the floor and under his back.  So now he can't raise his head, he can't move the roller, he can't do anything except lie there asking for help!  Well, he began laughing, then I started laughing (of course!), soon we're both weak with laughter and tears in our eyes...and between whimpers he's asking for help, but I cannot yet catch my breath enough to get up and help him.  Our laughing awakens the "almighty" (...or lazy) sleeping dog, and she moseys over to see whats up, she walks over and affectionately licks his face, and again, and again, and again....and there's nothing he could do!  He just lay there totally helpless, pup kissing away, crying out "help, stop it..megan, help..stop licking...MEGAN!"   Oh, how priceless!  It's the small things in life...

Yes, I did eventually help him out, I'm not that evil!

...So, that's the "ab-roller incident", let that be a lesson to us all to carefully secure our hair in the proper manner before attempting the use of this contraption (or any contraption, for that matter)!  He truly is a pioneer!
