jojoba oil expiry date qu????
May 18th, 2004 at 6:42pm

whilst looking a little closer at the label on my jojoba oil i noticed that it has an expiry date of march 2004! i bought it after that and the shop has since moved away so i cant go and ask them about it.
i havnt been using it recently (been using a smoothing balm) but i want to go back to it.
is the oil ok?
does it actually go off? eep  Shocked i dont want to use bad oil on my hair!
grrrr it was quite expensive aswell (£5.99 for quite a small bottle!)

HELP!  Smiley thankyou

Use your nose!  As long as the oil doesn't smell rancid, you should be fine, especially since you aren't going to ingest it.  I'd use it as quickly as possible though, to limit the possibility of having to throw any of your expensive treasure away.  You might want to try keeping it refrigerated as well!
