I guess I have no excuse for not measuring. 40" Not quite 1/2" a month, but at least it is still growing!

TALL???!!!! Shocked

I've NEVER been referred to as tall. If I stand real straight (hard to do with a fused spine), I am 5'3". I last measured in April. My last trim was April 2003.

eKatherine - I also experience fast growing roots, but slow growing ends. In the summer, my hair lightens quite easily. As fall/winter arrives, my darker hair continues to grow in, but yet there does not seem to be any additional length. I've decided that it only LOOKS like a lot of growth on the roots. When the hair lays on the head, what seems to be an inch of roots, may really only be 1/2" of growth. The hair blends together and gives the appearance of more growth.

I just had a small trim to even out the ends (I had quite a number of splits after spending a week at the very windy North Sea) - and I am at 46 '' now. So it still is growing after all.
