I've been on the search for hundreds of years for a magic potion to make my slow growing hair GROW!
I haven't found anything yet....but heres a few things that I've found that definately do help.

As regards shampoo, if you wanna really invigorate the scalp try Original Source Mint Shampoo and Conditioner. It will knock yer socks off. It's like putting Vicks Vapo-rub on your head! LOL

And some vitamins that I take to help with hair growth are Horsetail, Biotin, Folic Acid, B-12, Pantothenic Acid and Niacin. (All except the horsetail can be purchased in one pill as a B-Complex Multiple Vitamin).

Hope this helps! I'd be curious to see what everyone else suggests! Some more info here pleeeeease!  Smiley

There has been some research that shows that saw pametto will encourage hair growth.  I've found that MSM, biotin and silica prevent hair shedding (and some claim it promotes growth).

As for shampoos or conditioners that encourage growth, I would think that anything that keeps the scalp clean and prevents buildup on the scalp would be good.  Clogged folicles will not grow hair!

i've been nicely rubbing jojoba with rosemary oil onto my scalp (before i wash it and when i am not too lazy, like once a week i'd say) ... couldn't say it works but i find it funny how from one day to the next my roots look way bigger (for once i am happy seeing those pale roots hehe).  so i have the idea my hair grew as fast as during the summer (but it was a rather rotten summer here).
i don't take extra vitamins but was thinking about tryiong out those nettle pills i saw in the pharmacy the other day.
