Hello all:

Sorry For not keeping up with recent posts here. We live in Lake Charles, LA and are just beginning to recover from Rita.

You might notice that we live in a very wooded area. We have lost at least half of the trees; many of which fell on houses. We had one fall in the center of our house. It is strange that many of the trees just broke off about half way up, leaving this ugly "stalk". Chain saws, stump grinders and cranes are everywhere. The streets are now lined with walls of limbs, logs and rubbish almost 8 feet high on both sides. I may try to post some pics later. Anyway life goes on ------

Thank you for all the nice comments on my various styles. The alice band was one of those stretch comb things that connect together at the ends, making a ring. You place it around your hair line with the comb openings going sort of up and the ends connected at the back or nape area. The band is then pushed up into place on top. It works well but you need to be very careful when removing it to avoid snags.
