In an empty shampoo bottle, mix 1/2 cup dried rosemary with 1/2 cup light olive oil. Let sit overnight. Comb infused oil through dry hair  and leave in for 10 minutes. Before wetting hair, apply shampoo; rinse and shampoo again.

I also read in a book that you can use any oil, and combination of herbs that works for your hair, and steep for about 2 days.

Hi there,

I did try it today.  I think I will try it again before I make a decision.  For one, I screwed up and wet my hair before I shampooed and I think that made it a lot harder to get the oil out...so I don't want to judge until I do it properly.  As for the rest though...it took twice as long for my hair to dry but it does seem nice and soft.  Thanx for the tip and I will let you know how it goes when I do it properly!!

this is a great recipe, to make oil wash out easily put a little shampoo in your hair first no water (oil and water dont mix) to break the oil molecules up, then rinse out, my hair is super soft from using this, a thousand thanks xx
