While I can only dream of my next pair of Longlock hair sticks, Greek Lady has added another 16 pair (well 14 pair and 2 geishastix)!!!   What an amazing collection!  Shall I assume that you've been Christmas shopping here?  I drool over each and every one.

Few will ever be able to compete with Greek Lady's collection, but each of us can treasure the sticks we have and enjoy displaying them in our hair.  I love to "window shop" the sticks..... I could never afford to buy all that I would want, but it is nice to see whose collection the sticks go to.

I agree completely, Bikerbraid.  I wouldn't know where to put all those hairsticks if I could afford them!  But I love to look and drool over them just the same.  So that brings me to my next question:

Okay everyone, where do you store your hairsticks?  Do you keep them covered and rolled in jewelry rolls? Do you keep them in a jewel box?  Or do you leave them in plain view on your dresser?  Mine are in a short vase on my dresser, for easy access.  Someday I hope to have one of the display jewel boxes.

I used to keep mine in a pottery bowl on the vanity in the bathroom.  However, last Christmas, for fun, I bought a styrofoam cone to make a Christmas tree out of my sticks.  I loved displaying them that way, so my "tree" is still in the living room where I pick out my sticks for each day!

I want to see that stick tree too!

This last summer, my sister bought me an amish-made basket with compartments after I said "that would be perfect for my hair stuff!".  It has a long compartment for my mirror, brushes and combs, then three smaller ones, in which I put socks, baggies of barrettes and ponytail holders, scrunchies, bobby pins and my hair sticks, which just lean up against the sides.  Someday I'd like to get one of those jewelry rolls--it would probably fit nicely into one compartment.

I keep my hairsticks lined up on a mirrored tray on my dresser.  That way I can see them twice!  Grin Grin

My collection is relatively big, so in order to be able to find the pair I want to wear on a particular day, I need to keep it in good order. Right now my hairsticks are stored in jewelry rolls, sorted by colors.

I am thinking of buying a glass cabinet though. Then I'd be able to put at least part of my collection to display.

BB, I think I've said this before, but I think your hairstick tree is great!  Smiley

I wish I could keep my sticks in a vase or jar - it would look so nice!  But, I have a kitty who likes to chew on things, so I need to keep them out of his jaws.

I used to keep them in a stained glass box, but I just bought one of Susan's display cases, so now I can SEE all my sticks without digging through a box!  Well, most of them - I need to get a second tray already.

That is really cool, Bikerbraid!  I have not-so-subtly hinted that I would like one of the glass see through boxes offered for sale here at Longlocks.  Maybe I'll even need a second tray some day.
