Is it okay if I start this one?  I'm holding at 32 inches this month.  I almost did a trim yesterday, but decided to wait till after the New Year and see if I really need it.

Yeeaa i am so happy my hair touches my shoulders, it feels so good to walk around and have it brushing my shoulders. I am really enjoying this stage. My hair is at 13 inches now so i am hoping for 13 1/2 on christmas day.

The longer my hair gets the taller it makes me look my neck looks so elegant now Cheesy

It was ok for you to open this month Kathy, thank you! Wink  I measured in at 34 inches this month.   All I can say is that my hair is just about hip length.  If I come in at 35 next month,I throw my hands up and say no more measuring!!! Roll Eyes

That's great!   Cheesy

I am right at 31 inches.  I got a great deal trimmed off last month, something like 3-1/2 inches, but the remaining bit of the layers are gone now, so I am just focusing on growing and trimming only when absolutely necessary.   Smiley

I'm checking in at 20.5"  I had a trim last Thursday, and don't plan on another until February 2007.  I'm still reducing the color damaged ends...

Wow, you're so close Curlgirl.  I'll be rooting for you hoping that you do come in at 35" next month.  I'm sure it would feel so nice to reach that milestone. Smiley

I had a trim this past month too and am back at 24.5 inches but my ends look so much better.

24.5,that's great!  You and I are both kkeping out fingers crossed Undecided  the longer it gets the harder it is to take care of sometimes!  I'll just be happy that I don't reach terminal length before I get to tailbone!

I haven't been around in a while  Undecided but maybe some longlockers still remember me Embarrassed
I finally measured again: as of today my hair is 56 cm long (22 in). A year ago it was 49.8 cm (19 in). This might not sound much for one year of growing, but I went every 6 weeks for a trim (.5 cm). There is NO perm left in my hair  Smiley and I got rid of 3 layers this way  Roll Eyes

22 ¾ inches this month. Only ¼" of growth. So I won't be seeing 23" by the end of the year after all.  Cry

I don't think length is my problem, I just need to take care of it better.  I'm still learning as I go along.  I kind of don't understand the whole terminal length thing, but I have faith that you'll reach tailbone Wink

You have to use a sewing tape measure, the kind that rolls up.  Start at your hair line and measure to the back all the way to the longest strand. Smiley

First measurement: 21".  I am finally actually noticing growth following my last salon trim. No split ends visible yet.

Yeah, two years can make a huge difference.  Was your hair longer or shorter?

Your hair may have been layered, dyed and fried, but it's still so shiny that it's difficult to tell that it was suffering from abuse.  The style is very pretty, nice picture!
