KissI'm proud of my long haired family on LL,Angel!  Gotta really try to help this one do things right!  You see so many with long hair that just don't either take care of it or don't know how.

Ok, not only is this guy going to cook vegan for me on Saturday,I am going over to his place tomorrow to help him make marinara sauce and can it!  Pasta Dinner(whole wheat pasta) is the thank you he'd like to make me.  The menu is probably pasta, salad,a dessert wine, coffee and soy milk.  I have a sneaky suspicion that Purely Decadent(soy ice cream) is also on the menu!  Hmmmmm, sounds pretty good!  I wonder what he has planned for Saturday's dinner!  Stayed tuned!!!!!

ok,here's an update!!!  "C"(as I will call him)came by to pick me up at alittle before 1 and we walked over to his place.  We didn't make the sauce, however,we did make pasta together after the tour of his apartment.  I was touched that he went through so much trouble to make it "presentable"as he refers to it.  I could tell he really wanted things to go well and smoothly.  They did,but I didn't want him to think that things were so easy and he could just not care about being proper and such!  I was really touched that he made such an effort as making a good first impression.  All the shopping he did was buying all things fresh and organic and he really wanted to make sue I was comfortable.  We watched CSI Miami and Crssoing Jordan and things were very relaxed and layed back.  It really went nicely.  He walked me home and called a couple of hours later to say he had a really nice time and was looking forward to Saturday.  Not to sound abrupt, but, guys will almost bust a gut to,let's say,"why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free"! lol  I enjoy the effort emensly and do like the attentiveness though!!  lol  Not to say I "wanna see him sweat",but I will!!!  Anything worth getting is worth waiting for,so he's going to have to "wine and dine" me if he wants to see where this possible relationship is going!  All of this aside,it was nice to get out for a few hours and enjoy someone's company that was the four legged kind!!!  He was a gentleman and I did appreciate that!  Let's see about Saturday!  I hear that Japanese is on the menu if he doesn't  make sauce, but either way it sounds like a good date is in store.  Possibly one of his closest friends and his wife may come by.
More of the twists and curls of a Curlgirl are to come!!! Wink

Kudos to him for behaving as a proper gentleman should, and for you (too) expecting gentlemanly behavior from him!   Smiley

Thanks, sweetie! Wink  You know the saying,"when it rains,it pours"....well,this is not a bad thing, but I was getting dressed getting ready for my brother to pick me up so I could stream clean his carpets.  (Ya know better than to lend anything to your brother because you'll either never get it back or get it back broken!! Lips Sealed )  any who,the phone is ringing, the doorbell is ringing, the dog barking, the birds screaming....get the picture???  I throw on a bathrobe and make my way downstairs to open the door to this huge,I mean huge baske of flowers!!!  There are legs beneath it and it starts talking!!!!  It was so huge that the delivery person was hidden by its enormity!!!!!  I was so shocked, pleased and speechless, all at the same time!!!!  This is from the girl who is never at a loss for words!  I gotta post a pic of these so you can see this!  These flowers were because he had such a nice time yesterday(that's what the card said.)  Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow on our "official date

ok,hair first.  I washed with Prairieland Herbs shampoo bar,Pinion Leaf for dry hair and then used my recipe for ACV.  It has sage and rosemary in it.  My hair likes!!!  Less shedding, more curls and no frizz!!  Hooray!  I then oiled the ends and alittle of the length with Camellia Oil(I'm going to be so sad when I run out of that!! Sad) used a little Aloe Vera Gel and air dried.  I'm liking this end result very much.  I used a hairfork that I picked up on Ebay months ago,it's made out of wood from Bethlehem.  Works well for me.
On that positive note.....last night's date went very well.  He was a gentleman and a perfect host.  He came by my mother's house and had flowers and chocolate for her(nice brownie points, although she is not swayed by this!)(Good for her, too)She dropped him off at the Japanese Restaurant to pick up dinner for us walked back to pick me up.  THe evening was very very enjoyable and we both are anxious for the next date!  So, all in all this turned out very nice and we both are anticipating a very nice start to whatever and wherever this relationship can go!!

Today was such a whirlwind!  I did manage to oil my hair though with camillia oil.  I had done a little S&D the day before, but didn't get a chance to today.  Between a cleaning lady coming to my mother's house( I always seem to have to baby sit any cleaner that comes and not even get any cleaning done myself!)  I don't appreciate it or like it that my mother tries to work it that I have to be there to supervise everytime her house is cleaned while she runs around.  I can't sit there and waste time because I work against the clock and have to take advantage of when I do feel good enough to clean my own place,I've gotta strike while the iron is hot!!!  Anyway, lost an hour there, but it didn't set me back too far from cleaning up after Champ had left.  Sometimes people don't understand that when he leaves,I've got about an hour and half of cleaning up after him.  I have to,bare minimum, microfiber my bathroom, kitchen and living room.  Boxer's shed and I need to just feel the floor is clean when he goes.  My bichone doesn't shed and the cleaning up aspect of it for her is different.
I put my hair up in a bun and was going over to C's place to relax and just share some time with him.
The day before he had gone shopping with his son and wanted me to meet him outside when he was on his way home.  I did and he had bought me something while he was out!  He had a Sephora bag for me and said he thought he got something I would really like.  He was right!!  He had gotten me a bottle of Amazing Grace cologne!  I either wear Amazing Grace or Heart by Garden Botanika.  I also wear oils, too.  I thought that was so thoughtful and sweet!!
I wanted to do something for him so I ordered Japanese incense and found watermelon scented soy tealights that I hope he'll love.  So when they come in the mail I'll wrap everything up and surprise him.  I had gotten incense holders and various kinds of incense so I'm hoping he'll reall like it!!

Wow, that was really nice of him! I don't know how much Amazing Grace costs, but since it's from Sephora, I can imagine. Flowers and perfume?! Whatta guy.  Smiley
