cool! I have a few packages coming soon too... I completely agree...  *bouncy bouncy bouncy*

sorry.

*deepbreath*

For me, the it's often the more serious subjects that are the  fascinating. I'm the kind of gal who wants to know why it works, how it works, what else would work, ect.

Been doing alot of crocheting since C is away in Mass. working on a Electrolux show.  He left Tues.morning and was supposed to be back Wed.,but change of plans with the job Sad  He is supposed to leave Friday late afternoon,be dropped off in the city and then train ride it home.  He'll probably be home around 2am.  We'll probably get together Sat.morn.  (It's great that he lives about 8 houses down from me!!!)
We had also been shopping for engagement rings on the web before he left!!!!  I found the perfect stone and setting that I wanted.  Simple, but elegant setting for a solitaire.  When he called,I told him about it and he ordered it Shocked  It is supposed to be delivered by Tues. morning!!!!!!  Day after my birthday though Sad  Can't wait to see it!!!!!!!!  I'll give the "scoop" when I see it!!
So back to crocheting!  I did a Tam cap,DC Scully cap and a beret.  Started on Wed.and finished today,Thurs.  I needed a break from doing the cardigans.  I'm working on the second sleeve on one of them.  When that's complete I'll put it together and do the edging and it's done!!!
The other one is going to be a long project!  It requires 1400 yards of ric rak yarn!! Shocked  Got the yarn last month on ebay and started the back, but left it alone.  I'll get back to it soon Roll Eyes
Still no buyers for the house here yet.  A few serious inquires, but nothing.  So the plans of being down south before the cold sets in here are looking pretty dim........I figure spring or summer is when things will happen.  Anyway,it just means more time together for C and me!!!  Provided his job doesn't have him working crazy long hours!! Angry Sad

Whoa!   Shocked  That was fast   Grin
Not that speed is always a bad thing.  Hubby and I had only known each other 2 months when we got hitched, and we've been married now 21 years.  I wish you the best of luck, sweetie.  *hugs*   Smiley

Congrats, Curlgirl!! Who knows, maybe it will arrive a day early?

As another short courtship story, my stepdad met mom in early summer, maybe june... proposed after about a month, they were married in october of the same year, and as of halloween, it will be (i think, memory's failing me right now) 7 years.
