Kissthanks, hon!  It took it seems like forever, but it's done!  Can't wait to make it in another color though.  I think either a,um I don't know,a deep plum, wine or a deep coral or salmon......I've got time before winter sets in!!  I do have to make a poncho for my mother's friend though.  They belong to a group in the Red Hat Society,so it will be deep purple and red.  I'll post a pic of that when it's done.
So I've got the lacey cardigan going, the never ending camisole and for knitting I'm doing a scarf.  Just started a pair of arm warmers in a pattern I saw that I liked.  Not crazy for the yarn, but it they come out nice I'll get the yarn that I want for them.

I made a swater and coat in the same way!  The coat took eons to complete and sadly did not fit me so I donated it.....  There is a book author I met years ago in New York who has some really neat knitting and crochet books.  His name is Kaffe Fassett and does awsome things with wool. He even had a TV show at one point.  I had one of his crochet books and loved it.  Can't remember the name but it was all crochet and was really neat! Wink

Thanks for the info.  I will look up his name and see if I can find one of his books on Amazon,Barnes and Noble or Walden Books!  Can't have too many books on crochet or knitting, can you? Wink

Ok,shock among all shocks to me,I got the blood work back and the total cholesterol is 179!!!  Woo Hoo(happy dance while dog and birds look at me like I've lost my mind!)
The HDL is good and the LDL is alittle high,109(below 100 is good)  the white cell count is very low,2.9.  I expected that because of the meds.  What I'm wondering is if I'm at the lowest dose and am supposed to take the normal higher dose soon, does it knock me out of the pic because of the low white cell count????hmmmm.  I went on the lower dose because of that in the first place.
All other stuff, sugar, thyroid and liver panel are just fine.  Blood pressure was I think 100 over 70.  When I was running it was 90 over 60.  I liked that.
All in all everything is ok.  Got a reprieve from the pup for a few days.  He'll be back for a little while on Thurs. and Fri. while my brother goes to 2 firefighter's funeral's.  (two lost their lives while battling a fire at Deutsch Bank in lower Manhattan)
Started crocheting arm warmers as Christmas gifts for the ladies in the family.  All other projects are going along as planned.  Been using the fun fur on some of the cuffs and it looks nice.  Pic to come soon!!!!

The arm warmers with the fun fur sounds cute - you must post pics!  I used some fun fur on a tote that I felted.  I was surprised at how nice it turned out.  The wool felted up great and the fur stayed fuzzy and cute.

I heard about the fire in the Deutsch Bank - what a shame that anyone had to lose their life in a building that is being demolished.

I crocheted the arm warmers.  Haven't tried to knit them yet,but I will eventually!! Roll Eyes  Still practicing my knit and purl stitches Roll Eyes  I really like the bamboo knitting needles I'm using to make a scarf, but the four needles and circular and double pointed are making me sweat!!!  When I'm comfortable with single needles,I'll be buggin BB for some tips!!!
I'll take pics right now of the warmers and post tonight!!

there are three sets, but try as I might I can not make this pic smaller.  My theory is correct,"follow instructions or a recipe and you will screw it up!"
