morning oil vs nite oil
Oct 18th, 2007 at 7:06pm

It is beginning to feel alot like winter here.  I dont like going to bed with a damp or wet head, so last nite I didnt oil.  I knew I had to wash this morning so I oiled.  I put the oil on my ends and length about 30 - 45 mins b4 I washed.  My hair is sooo soft and smooth, it was like I left the oil in all nite.  I think I will be doing it this way more often.  Maybe it would be healthier to continue this way all the time since I sleep with my hair loose and I am prone to sinus headaches.

I use more oil in the winter - I oil both morning and night.  I usually wash my hair in the early evening so that it is mostly dry by the time I go to bed.  I use just a tiny bit of oil on the ends in the morning.  This helps keep the static under control.

Thanx for the idea BB to oil morning and nite, but it takes 6 - 8 hours for my hair to dry.  So, I either do it in the morning or early afternoon depending on what is going on.  I am serously thinking tho that the morning is going to be the best for me during the winter unless I get a daytime job.  Then I will have to do the nite thing again.

I've recently started oiling morning and night.  I've started using camellia oil.  One or two drops and my hair is not greasy looking like from other oils.  I just oil the ends, from the ears down.  I also apply a little oil when my hair is wet.  I use product regularly-a leave in, gel, and a moisture lock spray.  I apply the oil by scrunching it in up to my ears after the gel and before the spray.  My ends have never looked so good.

I only do a "heavy" oiling before I'm going to wash, which will be late afternoons now that it is getting cooler.  I use sesame oil for that, and massage my scalp as well as coat the strands.

I will still use the oil daily.

I had gotten a great deal on camellia oil a while back from a seller on e-bay,unfortunately they won't be getting it back in stock Sad  I oil morning and night with it and use aloe vera gel,my hair just loves it Smiley  Wish I would have bought tons of camellia oil when it was such a good deal!!!
