All your well wishes make me feel better-thanks!  Grin

I do think I've turned a corner and am now getting better.  Still stuffy, congested and coughing.  I managed to sleep most of the night last night.  I haven't really slept in 3-4 days.  I was waiting for the halucinations to kick in but they didn't.  yay?

Our weather is yuck and strange!  We finally turned on the furnace last night.  Looks like its sprinkling now.  I'm glad I've got my kitties to keep me warm.  Jupiter gets in my lap everytime I get on the couch.  He's so sweet.

My parents are coming tomorrow.  They usually stay a few days at my house until the heat and stuff gets turned on at their trailer.  They'll be out here for 3 months-ish.

Since I've been feeling soooo crappy-I decided to treat myself and family to the 12 days of Chrismas from Harry and David and some aplets and cotlets from Liberty Orchards.  In leiu of buying stocking stuffers I got some healthy and not so healthy snacks we'll all enjoy and I get to feel spoiled, too!  If anyone is interested, Harry and David has some of their gift towers on sale and there is free shipping on orders over $99.

My SS gift is in the mail, dear person, so it is on its way to you.  I had to send hubby to the post office for me (a couple days later than planned) cause I got so sick.  Part of your gift didn't arrive on time (by the 10th) so I'll be sending another envelope your way when it finally gets here.  I guess it wasn't in stock at the time I ordered or I would have gotten it before now.  As of today it still isn't here.  Try and plan ahead but it still doesn't always work out!

I'm going to go eat my hot, fresh from the toaster oven peanut butter cookies now and watch a movie.  Caio!

Last night is the first night I slept all the way thru in a week and a half!  I'm still coughing, but feeling better.

I'm surprised that I'm looking forward to my haircut on Tuesday.  My hair has lost its shape and the weight of it is making my waves look yucky.  Today I wore one of the horn slides I got from ebay-it is a flower and I love it.

Aplets & Cotlets arrived today-that was fast!  Luckily they got here before hubby got home so I hid them under my side of the bed.  Christmas day will be such a yummy surprise!!!

I'm glad you're feeling better. Smiley

I'm always tempted to buy myself things from Harry and David.  I know that I'd completely go overboard if I did because I'd just order cakes and cookies. Roll Eyes  Their stuff is so good.

Ooh that reminds me, I bookmarked a vegan goodie site a while back...I wonder if I still have it. Huh *off to check it out* Smiley

Thanks, LD!

Harry and David have so much to choose from, that's why I got the big tower since it has fruit and sweets.  Besides, I plan on this serving as what would have been stocking stuffers for the 4 of us to share.  That way I don't eat it all.

Did you find that vegan site you mentioned?

I've invited my parents to accompany us to Tuscon on Tuesday.  I hope we have a good time-my dad can be a party pooper.

Today my hair felt so long and wonderful I wish I didn't need and inch taken off.  Oh, well, it will grow back, right???

Yeah, I still had the site bookmarked.  It's called Allisons Gourmet.   Have you heard of it?  They carry vegan cookies, brownies, fudge...basically lot's of chocolate.  http://www.allisonsgourmet.com

I haven't been in the mood for chocolate, so I broke down and just got a small cake from the grocery store. Roll Eyes

If you're beginning to like your hair as it is now, then do you still need to cut it?

Thanks for the link!  I had not heard of that site.

In answer to your question, Yes, I still need to trim it because of the split ends and breaks.  Also because of the mistake i made many months ago in getting a Ouidad hair cut-I waited until that mess grew out to get it properly shaped by my curly girl haircut gal.  Seriously, the way my hair lays right now is pitiful!!

I'm still coughing quite a bit so I've moved my curly girl haircut appointment to Saturday, Jan. 3.  I don't want to take any chances of screwing up this cut!  And its still before rehearsals start.
