What brands of bottled would you reccomend for cleanliness and safety, Angel (or anybody else)?

Depends on the area. Obviously, I know absolutely jack about the sources (springs, wells, etc.) and processing plantations in Louisiana since I live in SoCal.  Grin  So I'm afraid that research is up to you.

As for international brands, though, I can tell you that Evian and Fiji are excellent.
Also, Sparkletts/Sierra Springs/Alhambra makes great water - so long as you go after distilled or artesian. And I know for a fact that one of the sources for these companies is in Louisiana.

Brands that I recommend avoiding are Dasani, Aquafina and the like. Overpriced, terrible quality, and notably horrible taste at room temperature. You'd have better luck with a local brand.

Oh yes, and if you're buying bottled water from the store, always recycle the bottles when you're done with them. Do not reuse them and do not throw them away.

Yep, Aquafina and Dasani...I couldn't recall the names of those brands earlier.  They're both filtered tap.

Yep, the same water they use to make soda pop, reconstitute juices, etc.

Wow! I knew they could test your hair for drugs, but this is way cooler! hubby hasn't mentioned this to me, and he is a Police Officer! I wonder if he knows?
I don't drink tap water, where I live it tastes awfull! I have tried many different brands and have found that I LOVE Evian! My mom said she heard somewhere that Demi Moore washes her hair with the stuff! I love her hair!

I always thought of bottled water as someone else's tap water!  and did you ever notice that evian is naive spelled backward?

On the other hand, I certainly believe that someone else's tap water can be better than mine!  Crystal Geyser tastes better than my tap; when I buy water, that's what I get.  My mom swears by Aquafina.  She says, "It's pepsi without the pepsi in it!"

I drink tap water also.  Smiley I am pretty fortunate in that we have really good water here and most people do. Not offense to anyone or anything, but I've heard from many people and other places that bottled water is just dead water, with all of the nutrients that are good for you taken out. I find that it doesnt taste as good as tap water, but that might just be me.  Smiley

Bottled water doesn't have the flouride added to it that tap water frequently does, so sometimes you'll see recommendations not to give children just bottled water.

Though I guess water isn't really "dead" until it's deionized water? And that's not for drinking.  Cheesy

Personally, I'm fortunate too that the tap water here is excellent. My parents used to have a well with terrible water - high sulfur and iron... water should have neither *smell* nor *color.* ugh!
