What's going Wrong?
Jul 16th, 2008 at 11:50am

So the past two days my hair has not been cooperating!  Cry It's been on the frizzy side and I use the same, if not more styling product. I even did a oo treatment overnight, casue my hair feels dry. It seems to hold the curl better when I used my Pantene!  Huh I am wondering if it's the product I switched to?!?  Undecided I ordered some devacare no poo, one condition, let it be leave-in, arc angel gel, and the moisture lock spray. hope they come soon, as I already sent back the other stuff, so I will have to use my Pantene in the mean time.
Any ideas on why my hair is acting this way? Does it need more moisture than I am giving it?

have you tried doing an ACV rinse recently?  I use pantene but find that the -cones build up when I don't and that can make my hair dry and behave badly, I think because the oil can't actually get to the hair.

Besides that the only thing I can think of is to ask what kind of pantene you use.  I've found that some help my hair better than others.

Transitioning can be a challenge!  It might turn out that your hair likes cones, llx3.  I know for sure mine doesn't!  You may have dry hair and the cones were hiding it.  Keep up the oiling, and try different ones...it is an ever evolving journey and curly hair is extra sensitive, IMO.  Also, try cutting back on the amount of product you're using.  Less can be more for curly hair.

I hope you'll like the devacurl as much as I do.

Me to. I couldn't find anyone around here that sold it so I had to buy it off the internet. As far as oiling I used the hair mask that BB posted last night, the one w/ avocado, honey and egg yolk. I used acv instead of vodka though. It made my hair really soft! My curls were shiny and georgous! Kiss Too bad I had to sleep on them! Grin I wonder if I can cut out the acv and use it as a moisturizer?
