The WORST inches
Oct 7th, 2008 at 6:02am

I *Officially* Declare..

the length between BSL & Mid-Back, to be the worst!!  Shocked

LOL, sorry for being so dramatic. To be completely honest though, I found the inches between shoulder length & BSL to be much worse. What are the worst inches for eveybody else?

Waist to classic was the worst for me.  I hardly noticed mid-back to waist.  After waist, I found styling more difficult and several of my standby's hard or impossible to do.

Waist to tailbone is killing me. Tailbone is pretty much my ideal length, and to think I am so close!! I have like, 8 months until I get there! >.<

But mid-back to waist was the best. It went by very quickly!

I thought getting to BSL was really hard -- very difficult to keep it looking nice -- too long for the really nice "short" styles and too short for the really nice long-hair updos  Tongue

I did find after waist that I was increasingly frustrated (?) by the length and finally decided to cut it up to mid-back.  Um, that wasn't the best solution either.  All my lovely, healthy ends were even and THICK.  I couldn't do any of my usual updos and get all the ends tucked in  Shocked

I'm working my way back to waist length again, and more of the fairy-tale end-style so I can wrap them into the updos better.  Live and learn  Roll Eyes

Hmm...I honestly probably couldnt answer that question because I just started growing my hair out, and then cut it again to make it all one length and get rid of those pesky side swept bangs. Hated them.
But anyways, right now I'm at about an inch past chin length, and my hair is growing pretty fast. I can actually see the difference between my picture of my hair last month, to this month's picture. It is pretty hard though, that length between shoulders and chin. Only a couple more inches to go! Smiley

I think the worst for me was shoulder length as I could not do a thing with it!  Undecided BSL took forever...  Now I am at mid back and love it. Smiley  Hope it gets longer...

I should probably add that the absolute worst for me was growing the pixie cut to the chin - all one length.  Nothing looked good, but once I got it all one length, I could just let it grow and do regular trims.

From shoulder length to BSL was the most trying for me. It seemed like it took forever and just wasn't growing at all! ...
But once I finally reached BSL, it was easy.  Smiley

Um.... since I started really growing out my hair at about BSL, I have to say that BSL to waist is now annoying because I've been trimming my ends since they had gotten pretty tapered.  So, I was almost there and then I cut an inch off to fix the taper-ness.

I'd say APL to BSL was tough just because I didn't like the way my hair looked during the time.  My hair looks better longer and it's easier to style.  I would feel perfectly comfortable staying at MBL but I want to experience having really long hair sometime during my life. Tongue

i'm feeling ok about my length now (currently going from below shoulder to BSL) and this hasn't been too bad. i agree with bb, though, when i was heading from pixie to chin and chin to shoulder that was insanely frustrating! it just seemed to be a non-style but still wasn't long and flowy so it didn't seem like anything. so glad that's over. now i have to just maintain my patience as it keeps growing Smiley

Shoulder to APL has always been worst for me because of the strange flicks my hair does at the bottom that's neither uniformely this nor that. Roll Eyes
