Christmas Lights
Dec 24th, 2008 at 9:17am

I love looking at the lights put up around this time of year.  Here are a few videos of lights that go BEYOND the normal for holiday lighting......

Lindsay Lights 2007
Lindsay Lights 2006
Lindsay Lights 2005
Lindsay Lights 2004

These people have WAAAAYYY too much time on their hands! (But are very creative)

Woa! That's actually really cool.  Grin But I would kind of feel bad about all of that energy they used just for entertainment.  Tongue

Very nice. In fact, the owner of this belongs to the Planet Christmas forum. You may know, maybe not, I do the same thing. I transmit on 90.1 FM with 20,000 lights in a syncronized north pole village with sycronized traffic lights, a plane, train, and autos.

This year, we were featured on the front page of the Christmas Eve edition of the newspaper. We who create the monster displays have the same amount of time as anyone, we just are creating light shows while others are doing more useful things like cutting grass and sleeping  Grin or useless things like watching TV  Tongue. It is a year long task.

Sorry I don't have a video mainly due to lack of equipment to make one. Maybe someday. I know people have taped it. I saw them outside doing it. Maybe I should have asked for a copy.

Sir Rat!!!  I was wondering if you did your display this year .... do you have any still pictures of it?  I really can't "comment" on the time people put into these displays.... I spend as much - probably more time knitting.   Grin  How ya doing these days?
