Hi everyone
May 2nd, 2009 at 4:34pm

Hi everyone, I used to have BSL hair (I totally had to look that up first time I saw it!  Cheesy) but I couldn't do anything with it!  My hair is not totally straight, but not wavy enough either to do anything with.  It's very fine and slippery but I have a lot of it and it was soooo heavy.  I got tired of not being able to do anything with it and cut it all off!  Now it's past my ears but not quite shoulder length.  I had just recently decided to try growing it back out and of course now it's at that awkward stage.  I just found this website and all the wonderful styles that can be done with the hair sticks.  I never thought I could use sticks because my hair falls right out, but now that I see some of the styles and techniques posted on this site that I'm sure would work, I'm sooooo mad I cut my hair before I found this site!   Shocked

Well, I'm happy to join you guys and hopefully in another year or so I'll be able to try some of these styles.

Cheers,
Michelle

Welcome aboard, MichelleR. Smiley

Sometimes we just have to learn the hard way when it comes to hair. A great many ladies here have had to start over as well (myself included), so we know all about mistakes and wanting to kick ourselves afterward. Roll Eyes The whole hair process is about live & learn.

Anyway, nice to meet you.

Welcome.  I always had problems keeping anything in my hair as it is fine, however, now that it is almost BSL and with what I have learned here, I can put it up with one hairstick and it will stay put.  Yours will, too, I'm sure.
