My cats rarely play with anything I buy for them.  They prefer twisty ties, bottle caps and rubber bands!

Dear Hair Diary,

Well I am hoping 2010 give me more growth.  I have not been on my Biotin as finding it is really hard.  I've been using my Jason shampoo again as I found the Indian herbs way too drying for the winter.  So I have been oiling with my speical mix and doing coconut leave-ins.

Ziggy's favorite toy is a pipe cleaner and Jupiter's favorite toy is pretty much anything that can be thrown that he can carry back in his mouth (including a tennis ball, the rubber rings that go on the prescription bottles from Target and a plastic spider ring).  Sweetie doesn't play much, but she does like to chase a string.

My oldest cat's (Yoda) favorite toys are my hair elastics.  If I take one out of my hair and put it on the coffee table, it will be gone in minutes!  He longs for them and will stare at me if he sees me taking my hair down.  Once I looped one around my fingers so it wouldn't get "lost" while I napped on the couch and I woke up to him pawing and chewing at it trying to get it off my finger!  If he does get hold of one, he'll guard it like a momma cat with a kitten and growl at anyone walking by.  He's so funny!

So much kitty longing! Your kitty is really cute.  Smiley

My friend's kitties all go nuts for the plastic ring that's left on bottles of soda when you twist the cap off.

Thanks Ladies!  I love hearing your cat stories Smiley

Me and Patches have a little ritual we do.  In the afternoon she gets brushed.  I use a long fingered rubber brush. She loves it!  So much so when I brushed her today she was drooling! I do one side then she flipps then I do the other then she goes on her back and I do the belly all along purring up a storm!  I never had a female cat before and noticed she has pronounced teats. Perhaps she had a litter before she was fixed?  She is such a suck!   Cheesy

I forgot about how normal it is for some pet owners to have rituals with their pets.  My cats weren't ritual by nature except for the one who thought he was a dog.  He's my mom's cat now but he's stopped barking some years back.

Dear Hair Diary,

I finnaly found some Biotin today!  I found it in a very fancey health/vitamen shop! .... I also found more of my favoirte Jason shampoo as well.  I think I will do a coconut milk soak tomorrow.

I got Patches some treats today:  a lazer and some catnip.  Needless to say she loved them and had a ball!

Don mother is back in Canada again!  She is here to get some surgery on her skin.  We picked her up at the VIA Rail station tonight.  She gave me a treat - a green back!  I was so ticked and of course I spent it Smiley

Anyway I am off to bed.
Nity nite.

Dear Hair Diary,

Had a busy day cleaning and cooking and doing laundry.....  Did the coconut milk heat cap thing lastnight and once more my scalp and hair sighed with relief.

Kitty had a nasty hairball today (boy I am happy I do not have rugs).  I gave her some Petromalt hair ball gel.  I just placed some at the base of her tail and she licked it off, seemed to like it too. Cool
