The sweet old woman who sold me these beautiful vintage hand carved beads didn't know if they were ivory or bone, but I believe they are bone.
The end of each of these hair ornaments is adorned with a vintage bead hand carved into a lovely rose, nestled into a gold plated filigree bead cap. A Swarovski Aurum bicone crystal, with a genuine 24kt. gold finish, occupies the center position. A round bone bead, topped with a gold plated flower bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are natural hand carved bone in the timeless shade of ivory. The hair accessories measure 6" from end to end.
