Turquoise, which comes in colors that range from yellow to green to aqua blue, has been treasured as a gemstone for centuries. Sleeping Beauty turquoise, mined only from the Sleeping Beauty mine in Arizona, is some of the most beautiful and treasured turquoise in the world. Turquoise lore suggests the gem strengthens the body and enhances creative expression, peace of mind, emotional balance, communication, friendship and loyalty.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a phenomenal genuine Sleeping Beauty turquoise pillow bead, nestled into an ornate double-ended Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap. A jet black cone crystal sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hair sticks are hand crafted of bone, carved into elegant twists and hand painted in satiny jet black under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks gemstone hair accessories measure 6" long from end to end.
