Blue topaz is a beautiful, serene gemstone and can be found in colors ranging from sky blue to deep London blue. Topaz lore suggests the gem can heal both physical and mental disorders, as well as prevent death. It is also believed to be a powerful amulet to protect one from injury.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a phenomenal 22kt. gold vermeil (genuine 22kt. gold over sterling silver) bead set with a faceted genuine blue topaz gemstone on each side. A Swarovski Aquamarine bicone crystal, topped with an ornate Turkish vermeil filigree bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hair sticks are intricately engraved bone, hand painted in satiny aqua blue under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks gemstone hair accessories measure 5 3/4" long from end to end.
