Oooooh…. Purty!!
The LongLocks HairSticks Boutique is debuting our new LongLocks Stix Nouveau in the LongLocks Hair Jewelry Catalog!
LongLocks Stix Nouveau hair sticks are actually the meeting of two LongLocks styles, GlimmerStix and DecoStix. Each design is first hand painted in rich, satiny acrylic colors, and then decoupaged in beautiful Art Nouveau filigree in contrasting or coordinating hues. Once finished with exceptional art glass beads, the results are some of the most striking LongLocks designs to date!
As with all LongLocks HairSticks® designs, these hair accessories are preserved under several layers of clear enamel, and each piece of hand crafted LongLocks Stix Nouveau hair jewelry is one-of-a-kind and never exactly duplicated. These original hair sticks and the process by which they are created are a LongLocks HairSticks exclusive and can be found nowhere else. Check ‘em out!

You Said HOW MUCH????
See this thing Nicole Richie is wearin’ on her head?

It’s a House of Harlow head piece. It’s made of gold-plated brass. It’s seven pieces of chain hooked together with a few jump rings. Made of gold-plated brass. It also cost FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS. And it’s made of gold-plated brass. Don’t believe me? Check out The Trend Boutique.
I don’t wanna be around when Nicole finds out she could have owned a pair of sterling silver or 22kt. gold vermeil hand crafted, one-0f-a-kind, made-by-the-artist’s-own-hands hair sticks for less than $100. Boy is she gonna feel stupid.

Mebbe I should rethink my prices.

Major Covet Part II!
Hey kidz! Did ya miss me? Ya, I know, I’ve been remiss. I don’t get much time to come up for air this time of year, it’s the nature of the biz.
So anyways, I’m doing my usual “too late to have not missed all the good stuff I can afford” stroll through the private sale boutiques, and I came across this beauty at Gilt Group and thought I just had to share:

It’s a crinkle silk draped gown by Alexander McQueen… just GORGEOUS! It even has boning! They apparently have two left, A European size 38 and a size 40. The 40 measures 34 inches in circumference at bust. 70 inches from shoulder to hemline. It’s also available in black. Neither of which will be mine, yet once again. But just ONCE in my life I want to wear a gown with a train! Just ONCE! I missed the chance when I got married. Don’t ask.
Anyway, it can be some lucky, painfully skinny girl’s for the bargain price of $998. And considering the retail price was $3,975 it IS a bargain! And note the model is NOT wearing Armadillos.
Gilt is one of those private sale sites for which you have to contact me to get an invite. I’ll be standing by as the requests come pouring in from all of you lucky ladies who are hot to buy this beauty!

Pssssst, Hey You! Wanna Buy a Kimono?
I have been desperately trying to get the kimono in our collection that we have no wall space left to display into permanent storage. In the process of doing so, and much hubby arm twisting on my part, we have decided to part with a few of them.
I have five uchikake (very ornate wedding kimono) and one furisode (ornate kimono with long sleeves worn by single women) that need to find a loving home. They all make the most beautiful works of art you will ever hang on your wall (we even have one suspended from the rod at the head of a pencil post canopy bed in the guest room), or the most unforgettable gift you will ever give. They are all different colors and range from iridescent pastels to vibrant jewel tones.
If anyone is interested, please contact me and I will describe what I have and take photos for you of any you might be interested in. The photos below are examples of the types of kimono I have, but are not actual kimono in my collection.

od this year! Hey, 25% off a new bag from eBags is just too good to pass up!
OK, if it is a sin, is it only 80% of a sin if I use a 20% off coupon? I don’t know if I can afford any more ticks in my “Sin” column. I might be forced to do a good deed or sumthin’.
