Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
This gorgeous LongLocks IndividualiStix hair jewelry design is done in the LongLocks GlitterStix style. This hair pin is adorned with a scrumptious cream, topaz and navy blue swirl on jet black lampwork lentil bead hand crafted by glass artist Denice Malone, nestled between two gold plated filigree bead caps and into a Turkish vermeil (genuine 22kt. gold over sterling silver) filigree bead cap. A rare vintage Swarovski Light Topaz Aurora Borealis tapered crystal, topped with an ornate Turkish vermeil filigree bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hair stick is elegantly carved bone, hand painted in a glittering gold finish, under layers of protective clear enamel. This one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessory measures 5 7/8" from end to end.
