Hey Everyone
Oct 7th, 2009 at 12:32am

I recently decided to embrace my natural curls. I am excited and hopeful that this will be an amazing journey. On the LHL, someone posted a website www.biracialhair.org. I looked around and tried her suggestions and love the results. I still have a long way to go, but I am willing to give it a try.

Good for you, brunette85!  While I have plain old Caucasian wavy hair, I've never been so happy hair wise since I've embraced my natural texture.

All I can say is WOW after viewing that site.  I think that is what my hair is missing,a really good leave in conditioner.  I think I'll experiment and try some of her techniques!
Thanks for sharing that site with us! Smiley

I remember seeing that site and being amazed! Unfortunately, my hair -really- hates massive amounts of conditioner. All that I got out of following her instructions was limp, slightly greasy hair, and a very slippery floor in my shower.  Alas, the plight of having straight hair. Cry

I am still suffering massive curl envy. I've told my ringlet-enabled DH that if our children don't have curls, he's fired!  Grin
