Look again! There are no exceedingly bright colors in these beads, what you are seeing is the gorgeous stained glass effect that occurs when light shines through them! How cool is that???
The end of each of these hair pins is adorned with a phenomenal Chinese millefiore (thousand flowers) bead in hues of red, royal blue, white and yellow on a black ground, nestled into a silver plated filigree bead cap. A Swarovski Jet bicone crystal, topped with a silver plated filigree bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hair pins are elegantly carved wood, hand painted in satiny jet black, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind extra long Millefiore Midnight LongLocks RapunzelStix hair accessories measure approximately 7 3/4" from end to end, and are recorded in the LongLocks archive.
