Ordering and Shipping Information for the LongLocks HairSticks® BoutiqueLongLocks HairSticks and accessories are one-of-a-kind works of art for your hair. Longlocks HairSticks jewelry designs are suited for everything from business attire to a wedding ensemble, and are perfect as a romantic gift or a well-deserved indulgence. We are happy to ship our designs to worldwide destinations! If you would like to place an order, there are several payment options from which you may choose.
Credit Card or PayPal Payment via Secure Shopping Cart:Credit card information entered into the Secure Shopping Cart is processed on a secure server for your protection. Browse the Hair Jewelry Catalog to find the style of LongLocks HairSticks or jewelry design that suits you best. Once a style is selected, several designs in that style will be presented. Select any hair accessories within your chosen style and a new browser will open to display closeup pictures of the hair sticks and a description of components used in the design. Once you have made your choice of design, click the "Add to Cart" button at the bottom of the item description and you will enter the Secure Shopping Cart:If You Would Like to Continue Shopping: Click the "Continue Shopping" button at the bottom of the cart page. Click the "Review cart or check out" link that appears at the top left of every page in the LongLocks Boutique when you are ready to purchase the items in your shopping cart.When you are ready to purchase the hair jewelry in your cart via Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, American Express or PayPal (which includes the option to use a bank transfer), choose the appropriate shipping category from the shipping options drop-down list and click "Add Shipping." Select your desired shipping method and click "Add Shipping." Select your state from the US State drop-down list. Click "Go to Payments" and complete the presented form with the required information. Click "Continue." Select the "Payment by Credit Card" or "Payment by PayPal" radio button from the Payment Options list. Click "Continue." For Credit Card Payments: Enter your name as it appears on the card. Choose the Card Type from the drop down menu (VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Discover). Enter the card number. Enter the Card Verification Number (the last three digits on the signature strip located on the back of the card). Choose the Expiration Date from the drop down menus. Click SSL Secure Payment and your order will be placed on the secure server. You will immediately receive an order confirmation and will receive a separate payment receipt via email once your order is prcocessed. Place an Order Via Our Toll-Free Number:Always committed to offering premier customer service, credit card orders for items posted in the LongLocks HairSticks Boutique may be placed over the phone by dialing 1.87.RAPUNZEL (1.877.278.6935), toll-free. Phone ordering is available between noon and midnight seven days a week. Messages left at other times with a callback request will usually be returned within 24 hours of receipt. Please keep in mind that at most times I'm a one person show and am often covered with paint or running a loud tool and may not be able to answer the phone fast enough to keep it from going to voicemail. Please do leave a message and I will get back to you just as soon as I am aware of it!About the LongLocks LockAway Layaway Plan:LongLocks LockAway is our popular layaway plan and is available for most LongLocks HairSticks Boutique purchases. Depending on the design(s) you choose, the total of your order will be divided by two or three payments, due every 30 days (the number of payments will appear after "LockAway" on each item in the shopping cart). Each total order is charged a single $5 non refundable processing fee, which is added to your first payment. You may use any of our accepted payment methods with the LongLocks LockAway Plan and your credit card payments will be billed automatically. Except for special order designs, LockAway purchases are mailed our first shipping day after the final payment is received. Special order designs are added to our work schedule after the second LockAway payment is made.Should you default on making payments as outlined in the payment schedule, all previous payments will be refunded via the same method made, less the $5 LockAway fee, and your locked away designs will return to "for sale" status in the LongLocks HairSticks Boutique. You cannot add to an established LockAway order, but you are welcome to establish as many LockAway orders as you like. You cannot cancel part of an established LongLocks LockAway order, only the entire order may be canceled. Should you choose to once again reserve items under the LongLocks LockAway Plan from an order that was canceled for any reason, the new order will incur an additional non refundable $5 fee. Items purchased on the LongLocks LockAway Plan are not qualifying Collectors Club purchases and do not earn Collectors Club credit nor discounts; however, an earned Collectors Club gift certificate may be applied toward a design placed on LockAway. Custom orders and any item that does not include a LongLocks LockAway link do not qualify for the LongLocks LockAway Plan. To place an order using the LongLocks LockAway Plan, browse the Hair Jewelry Catalog to find the style of LongLocks HairSticks or jewelry design that suits you best. Click the "LockAway" button at the bottom of the item description and you will enter the Secure Shopping Cart. If you would like to continue shopping, click the "Continue Shopping" button. Click the "Review Cart or Checkout" link when you are ready to purchase the items in your shopping cart. Choose "LockAway Layaway Options" from the shipping options drop-down list and click "Add Shipping." Select your desired shipping method (which includes the $5 non refundable LockAway processing fee) and click "Add Shipping." Select your state from the US State drop-down list if applicable. Click "Go to Payments" and complete the presented form with the required information. Click "Continue." Select your desired payment method from the Payment Options list. Follow the directions above for your chosen payment method. Your order will be placed on the secure server and you will receive a confirmation, a receipt and a payment schedule via email. Gift Certificate Payment via Shopping Cart:Browse the Hair Jewelry Catalog to find the style of LongLocks HairSticks that suits you best. Once a style is selected, several designs in that style will be presented. Select any hair ornaments or jewelry design within your chosen style and a new browser will open to display closeup pictures of the hairsticks and a description of components used in the design. If you would like to use your gift certificate to purchase the hairsticks, click the "Add to Cart" button at the bottom of the item description and you will enter the Secure Shopping Cart. 2If you would like to continue shopping, click the "Continue Shopping" button. Click the "Review Cart or Checkout" link when you are ready to purchase the items in your shopping cart. When you are done shopping, choose the appropriate shipping category from the shipping options drop-down list and click "Add Shipping" (do not choose "Custom Deposit/Certificates," this designation is for the purchase of gift certificates) Select your desired shipping method and click "Add Shipping." Select your state from the US State drop-down list. Click "Go to Payments" and complete the presented form with the required information. Click "Continue." Select the "Gift Certificate" radio button from the Payment Options list. Click "Continue." Enter the required email, gift certificate ID number, and issue amount information. Should the issue amount be greater than the total for the order, you will be credited the difference toward a future purchase. Should the issue amount be less than the total for the order, you will be contacted with options for making payment on the remaining balance.Shipping Charges:Standard shipping charges for orders less than $250 sent anywhere in the United States via first class mail is $7.50, and increase slightly in proportion to the size of the order. LongLocks HairSticks Collectors Club members are entitled to free domestic first class shipping on single orders totaling over $125 after discounts, or may upgrade to Priority Mail shipping for a reduced fee of $7.50 for single orders over $125 (please note these discounts will not appear in the shopping cart and will be applied when your order is processed). Orders may be shipped via Priority Mail (with an average delivery time of three business days) or Express Mail (orders placed before 6pm will be shipped the next morning for express delivery, which is guaranteed within 1-2 business days depending on your location), for an additional charge. International orders are shipped once weekly via Insured Registered Mail at a charge of $18.25 (except Canada, which is $9.95) for orders totaling less than $300 and are only shipped to the verified credit card billing address. Domestic and international orders totaling over $300, including those made by Collectors Club members, are subject to additional insurance fees. Orders to APO/FPO addresses ship via Priority Mail only. If a package shipped to an APO/FPO address fails to arrive safely, we reserve the right not to subsequently ship to the same address. LongLocks HairSticks display cases and trays ship domestically via Priority Mail only. Display cases shipped to international destinations are shipped via Global Priority whenever possible (and via Airmail Parcel Post when Global Priority is not available). Orders for multiple display cases to any address worldwide will be adjusted to reflect any additional shipping fees before processing.Shipments:With the exception of Express Mail, domestic shipments are usually made twice a week, international shipments are made once a week. Shipments of first or limited edition designs will be mailed in the first feasible shipment after receipt of payment. |

Insurance Claims:All LongLocks packages are shipped insured. Insurance is purchased to protect both of us. In the unlikely and unfortunate event a claim for damage or loss has to filed, please be patient during the process as it is by no means a quick one, nor one we are able to expedite ourselves. Everyone involved is at the mercy of the USPS.More likely than not a package that was assumed missing will eventually arrive. Apparently the USPS is well aware of this as we cannot make a claim for a missing package until 30 days from the date of shipment have passed (the wait is longer for most international shipments). |

| Once we have received confirmation from the USPS that your package cannot be found, and have received any required paperwork from the intended recipient, we will immediately file an insurance claim with our third party insurer and begin work on replacement designs on a very expedited schedule. In the event that an insurance claim is filed and the customer does not want their order replaced, the original purchase price will be refunded once we are reimbursed through the claim. | |||||

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING MISSING PACKAGES: If a package you were sent does not arrive you must contact us within 45 days of when you were sent notice that the item was shipped in order for a claim to be made and your items replaced or refunded. If you contact us past this 45 day timeline, only a replacement will be made and only if the original package can still be recovered. In this case we will replace all designs originally shipped, no matter what state they are in when the package is found. Gift Certificates:Gift certificates may be purchased in $50, $100, $150, $250 and $500 denominations (if you would prefer a gift certifcate in a denomination other than those listed, please feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to help you out). Gift certificates may be redeemed for a full year from the date of issue. Gift certificates have no cash value and may not be exchanged or refunded. Any unused balance remaining after a purchase cannot be credited toward a future purchase under most circumstances and unless prior arrangements are made. Gift certificates do not earn credit as a LongLocks HairSticks Collectors Club purchase; however, Collectors Club Members using a standard LongLocks HairSticks Boutique gift certificate do qualify for the 5% Collectors Club discount. We ship gift certificates anywhere in the world via first class mail free of charge. We are also happy to deliver gift certificates via e-mail 365 days a year!Custom Orders:Because of the overwhelming demand for LongLocks hair jewelry and its one-of-a-kind and hand-crafted nature, we currently are unable to accept orders for custom work.Special Orders (Unique Versions of Existing LongLocks HairSticks Designs):Because our ready-to-ship first edition designs tend to sell very quickly, most designs in the boutique are categorized as special orders (all special orders are clearly marked in several places on the item description page from which orders are placed, in your order confirmation, and in your receipt). Each special order design is a new, one-of-a-kind version of the first edition design, and are scheduled to be created as they are ordered. Because an important part of the LongLocks HairSticks Philosophy is that, with very few clearly-marked exceptions, every LongLocks HairSticks design is unique, I never exactly duplicate a design that was purchased by someone else; therefore, a very small change is incorporated into every special order version, thus ensuring you alone possess the design you choose.I always have hundreds of special order designs on my schedule and I work as fast as humanly possible while maintaining the exceptional quality of my hair jewelry. Please allow approximately 8-10 weeks for completion of one special order design (longer for multiple designs). It is important to note that all timeframes are approximations and will fluxuate depending on our current workload and the number and types of designs in your order. We promise it will be worth the wait! A Gift-Giving Hint for Special Order LongLocks Designs--We've Got You Covered no Matter how Late it Is! If you would love to present a special order LongLocks hair jewelry design as a gift but know we cannot meet your timeframe because of the demand and hand-crafted nature of our one-of-a-kind designs, rest assured that you're in good company, we've helped with this issue lots of times! Simply contact us (or drop us a note in the shopping cart Feedback text box) and we will be happy to create a printable copy of your design(s) with the pricing information removed. Once presented tied up with a pretty ribbon and an acompanying explanation that a one-of-a-kind version of the pictured jewelry is in the process of being designed and hand crafted just for the recipient, you'll have what has successfully proven time and again to be a very effective way of giving treasured LongLocks hair jewelry that you've special ordered for a very special someone! Hugs and kisses are guaranteed!Each special order design incurs a nonrefundable special order fee of $5.00 (this fee is already reflected in the price when placing an order from a designated special order design page). Because you are purchasing the design service for your one-of-a-kind jewelry as well as the jewelry itself, your card will be charged when you place your order. Before work begins, special orders may be canceled and all charges less any applicable nonrefundable fees will be refunded. Once work has begun on a special order design, it cannot be canceled. We will notify you once your special order design is close to completed and if you choose to add something to your pending shipment, we will waive all additional shipping fees, including items added to international orders! (Insurance fees may still apply in some rare instances). Special order designs may be returned for store credit or exchange only. You may arrange to use the LongLocks LockAway layaway plan for special orders; however, LockAway orders will not be added to our design schedule until the second LockAway payment is made. Please feel free to contact me if you would like me to create your own personal version of an existing design you see anywhere in the boutique (including pages other than the catalog, such as in our Kudos and Design Gallery or in the Collectors Gallery), and I will be happy to design one for you in an unretired style if I still have the necessary focal components in my collection. Quantity Wholesale Discounts:Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of LongLocks HairSticks and the tremendous increase in demand for them we have experienced, we unfortunately are no longer able to offer our designs at wholesale.Paper Catalogs:Unfortunately, because LongLocks HairSticks designs are one-of-a-kind, it is impossible to print a paper catalog that would remain current for any length of time. The online catalog is maintained on a daily basis and is always current.Satisfaction Guarantee:LongLocks HairSticks are guaranteed to please. Unworn first edition hair accessories and unworn Waltzing Willow jewelry may be returned for exchange, credit or a full refund less any shipping or associated charges, but must arrive at LongLocks in their original packaging and condition within ten days of arrival at their destination (as reported by the USPS Delivery Confirmation status report). Special order designs may be returned for store credit or exchange only. Orders originally qualifying for free or discounted shipping are subject to application of standard shipping fees if a partial return is made and the balance of the order falls under $125. Our apologies but worn jewelry, clearance items and custom made designs may not be returned. |
