There are only four special order versions of this design available.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a divine encased sunny yellow and black twisted cane lampwork bead, hand crafted by glass
artist Bill Grout, nestled into a Turkish vermeil (genuine 22kt. gold over sterling silver) filigree bead cap. A gold plated jet black crystal rhinestone rondelle occupies the center position. A jet black crystal, topped with an ornate Turkish vermeil filigree bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are carved bone hand finished in a pansy flower design in hues yellow, black, ivory and green beneath a glittering sugared finish, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 3/4" long from end to end.
