Title: Rinses
Post by Superfine on May 8th, 2003 at 2:50pm
Question regarding sage/rosemary/coffee rinses....I find they leave my hair really dry and tangled.  Is is okay to condition afterwards? If I use fresh ingredients (sage, rosemary) how much do I use in the recipe?  Is the dried stuff stronger?  I find my hair really responds to rosemary oil added to my conditioner.

Are you supposed to rinse them out of hair or leave it in?  Can you use them everyday?  I'm trying to get my medium brown hair to turn a darker, deeper brown.

Has anyone had their colors done?  You know, when they tell you what "season" you are, and what colors look best on you.  I thought I was a winter but I think I'm actually a summer cuz I'm too pale for the bright reds, etc.  I'm trying to find out eye shadow wise what colors I should pick....I don't wear makeup at all...just some coverup and powder.  Anyway, as usual I'm getting off topic.....  ::)

Sure, you can condition before, after, or even during.  There's no reason why you can't add coffee to your conditioner.

If you are looking for a general color guide as far as good colors for the shade of your hair, you can check out our color chart at the URL below:
