This chart is not by any means meant to be all-inclusive. Every hair color has a much broader range of appropriate colors than appears below. Another thing to consider is the common misconception that all very dark hair is actually black. Unless hair is dyed, only people of Asian descent have naturally true black hair. It's also important not to ignore favorite colors. If the person wearing the hair accessories loves purple but doesn't care for green, the best Swarovski crystals for them are Amethyst or Cardinal, not Olivine or Peridot no matter what any color chart suggests.
