About the LongLocks Hair Color Chart

One of the questions we are asked most, especially by those seeking to buy a gift of hair jewelry for someone special, is what colors of hair sticks coordinate best with any particular hair color. To provide some guidelines to help make determining the best hues for certain hair colors easier, we have created the LongLocks HairSticks Boutique Hair Color Chart. While obviously useful for choosing hair jewelry that coordinate well with any hair color, the chart below can be applied to clothing and other accessories as well!

Please keep in mind that these are only guidelines and the many variations in hair color, skin tone and eye color can affect the determination of any one person's best colors. This chart is not by any means meant to be all-inclusive. Every hair color has a much broader range of appropriate colors than appears below. Another thing to consider is the common misconception that all very dark hair is actually black. Unless hair is dyed, only people of Asian descent have naturally true black hair. It's also important not to ignore favorite colors. If the person wearing the hair accessories loves purple but doesn't care for green, the best Swarovski crystals for them are Amethyst or Cardinal, not Olivine or Peridot no matter what any color chart suggests. It's a good idea to consider predominant wardrobe colors when making decisions about the best colors of hair accessories.
