I use scrunchies to tie up my hair and hair-safe ponytail holders to secure my braids. Some people use Bunjii's.

I use only hair-safe elastics (sort of a covered elastic that has no metal on it).  I use Bunjii (www.Bunjii.com) hair ties alot and love the fact you do not have to keep pulling your hair through them repeatedly.

I use scrunchies, especially when i do a bun.  Somehow, I can't get clips or bobby pins to hold a bun for me...it's a mystery.. Grin

For holding a bun, I typically use one or two hairsticks.....no clips or pins for me!  Cheesy
