LONG hair styles

I am new, and I have VERY long hair *too my knees. I need some new styles! most styles are impossible or too heavy for me... i do braids and hair sticks a lot... does anyone know some good sites for long how to on long hair styles? Also I am very interested in retro hairstyles of the 40s and 50s as there any help for me? thanks in advance for your help.
PS who knows some good detangler conditioner?!

You can try my little invention that I modeled step-by-step at TLHS.  Go to http://www.tlhs.org/carstyl.html except that now, 5 years later, I don't have bangs anymore.  It still works for me, and I wear this almost every day (except I'm in a rope braid bun right now, LOL).
