Yes, a little bit goes a long way with jojoba oil. I like to do a heavy oiling, then braid my hair for the night. It is amazing how soft my hair will be in the morning.

Or does it get absorbed? The oil that I currently use (olive) is heavy and needs to be washed out...

My usual oiling will be absorbed by morning.
