Australian Organics
May 5th, 2004 at 3:13pm

I see you wrote about Australian Organics, I had to write and say WOW this stuff is great!  I bought the shampoo and two conditioners at Ulta they where only  .99 cents.  So I asked the woman that works thier if they would be getting anymore in and she said no  Cry, So now I don't know where to go and buy it.  But then I got to thinking I can go to the health food store and they can order it for me  Grin.  I just had to let you know that this stuff is great and left my hair very soft and silky,  NO CONES (yeah)!!!!  Are you still using them and if so how was your hair after you washed a couple of times?  I just used it for the first time lastnight.

Australian Organics are my primary shampoo and conditioner.  My hair is very soft and silky when I use it.  I even use a bit of the conditioner as a leave in to help with detangling and flyaways.  An excellent buy in my opinion.   Grin  Glad you liked it!

I hope you can find another store that handles it!

I've recently seen Australian Organics(I think it was at the hairboutique),and might like to try it. Wink Do you know which cleansing agent it contains? Sodium lauryl or laureth sulphate?
Thanks! Smiley

I don't remember off the top of my head.  When I get home I'll check for you.

Found it on line.  I use the shampoo for permed/colored hair (I've found these to be more gentle).
Here's what was listed:
Quote:
Australian Organics, Pure Plant Hair Care, Salon Developed and Tested. As part of the process to achieve healthy hair and scalp, Australian Organics uses a formulation developed with mild cleansers. Plant Proteins and Organic Plant Extracts, Almond Glycerides, Horsechestnut Extract, and Provitamins. Since your hair is made up of 97% protein and 3% water, hair is far more fragile when wet, Gentle cleansers are necessary to avoid damage and breakage to the hair shafts. Made without SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). ` 14.85 oz

I'll get the actual list when I get home.

AQUEOUS EXTRACTS OF CHAMOMILE, LIME BLOSSOM & BIRCH (CERTIFIED ORGANIC), CETERLY ALCOHOL (COCNUT DERIVED) SESAME OIL, CETRIMONIUM CHLLORIED, COCAMIDOPROPYLAMINE OXIDE (COCONUT DERIVED), HYDROLYIZED WHEAT PROTEIN, SOYA PROTEIN AND WHEAT AMINO ACIDS, OCTYLMETHOXYCINNAMATE (UVA/UVB FILETER), PEG 35 CASTOR OIL AND POLYSORBATE 20 AND HORSECHESTNUT EXTRACT AND RETINAL A PALMATE (VITAMIN A), AND TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E) AND PABA AND INOSITOL (VITAMIN B) AND CALCUIM PANTOTHENATE (VITAMIN B5) AND LINOLIC ACID (VITAMIN F) AND BIOTIN (VITAMIN H), LECITHIN, BENZYL ALCOHOL, ROSEMARY ESSENTIAL OIL, LEMON ESSENTIAL OIL, PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL.

I whet to Ulta again today and bought the last four bottles they had left  Grin.  Then I called my brother who lives almost an hour from me, asked him to go to the Ulta store buy him and to see what they had left.  He calls me tonight and says there are three bottles of conditioner and one shampoo, I said wipe them out  Grin.  So he bought all four that where left, I have enough to last a couple of months.  Know the hard part finding it again, I know drugstore.com has it and by going onto google.  I used it lastnight and this morning my hair felt soft, really soft.  I have one question do you think the normal conditioner is ok?  I have for dry hair and normal hair.

gngirl;
I don't have the ingredients for the normal, but if you compare what is on the bottle to what I have listed, I would guess there is not much of a difference.  If there is, let us know!
