We did Jesus Christ Superstar for the musical.  JC Superstar was written in the 70's and the director had us dress in 70s attire.  That year I could let my hair down Happy  Everyone loved it.

We did Evita this year and I had to put my hair up in a low bun because in the 40's long hair wasn't the look.

Next year he might do a personal favorite musical.  "Hair"

Will it include the nude scene?  I've seen 3 different productions of Hair.  The original (the nude scene was very tastefully done), and 2 versions without the nude scene.  I preferred the original!

I don't think it would include the nude scene.  I don't thing we'd get good reviews from the Board of Education if we did.  I'm still in highschool.   Grin  But wow, you got to see the musical?  That must be awesome!

The only one I saw was Phantom of the Opera on Broadway last year.  What a show!  I loved it!  And I heard on Broadway, they don't use wigs.  Only real hair.  So if someone wanted to be Eva Peron in Evita, she would have to be blonde.  In Phantom, Christine Dae's hair had to be at least 30 inches long and it was curly too!  So beautiful.   Smiley

They are doing a stage version of Hair here in Minneapolis.  During an interview, they mentioned that all of the actors have their own hair for the production - no wigs!  And all of the players are from this area!

I'm hoping to be able to see this version of Hair while it is in town.
