Another newbie saying hello!
Feb 25th, 2005 at 7:52am

Hello everyone!

Just got invited by bikerbraid to introduce myself in the New Members Introductions folder, so here I am.

I have been growing my hair since last time I cut it short (I mean above shoulders short), nearly ten years ago now. I cut it 'to get rid of split ends'. Unfortunately, splits ends seem to be a recurring problem for me, and I've had 'trims' of varying degrees between then and now to try and get rid of the splits.

My hair is currently hovering near my natural waist (not the waistband of my jeans, as they tend to be hovering near my hips). It is light brown, still has splits (currently not enough to worry me too much), is fine and of medium thickness. I'd love to grow it to my hips at least.

As for me, I tend to be more a listener than a talker, so I might not be too active on the message boards. I also love travelling and have just returned to Europe after spending a few years in Australia.

Hope to get to know you all better!

Welcome Fraggle!

I think we all struggle with split ends, especially has our hair reaches longer lengths.  There are many suggestions throughout this site for helping to maintain healthy hair, hope you find something that helps you.

Hope to hear from you more!

Welcome aboard Fraggle  Smiley
I don't post much either, but I wanted to say hi to the new ones, as people welcomed me when I joined.
Congratulations on having reached waist length and keep up the good work till your ultimate goal.

And... since you touched a subject I hold dear, can we talk about Aussieland?? Grin Grin

Thanks everyone!

Greek Lady, we sure can talk about Aus! I guess we should meet on the non-hair topic folder (I believe it is called 'Letting your hair down', still a bit lost on this site) for that?

Hey Fraggle, I've started a post in the folder you so correctly suggested. It's called (what else  Cheesy) Paging Fraggle  Grin.
Just mentioning it here 'cause maybe you hadn't noticed that in that other folder. Cya there (hopefully  Cheesy)
