for the past few weeks my hair has been really unmanageable. I think it must be to do with winter, because in the last few weeks the winter weather has just started to kick in. My hair just feels like straw - really dry, really brittle, really frizzy, really hard to handle. After all of my hair experiences I've kind of come to the conclusion that my hair is actually naturally a bit frizzy, but it just gets worse in certain weather conditions.

Does anyone else get this super-dry, super-breakable hair in winter? What do you do to combat it? I guess my hair's always been that way when the weather gets cold but because I'm taking more notice of my hair lately, it's probably annoying me more 

You are most likely right about the winter weather making your hair dry.  I haven't been paying attention for a full year yet to know if mine does that, but after reading your post I suspect  it does.  The last few weeks my hair has been much softer, less dry.  Here I thought it was what I was doing   -- but I'll bet it's because we're getting into summer here.

Lots of good suggestions have already ben made.  I'd just add trying a vinegar rinse to make sure the problem isn't product build up.
