Friend needs styling tips
Jul 28th, 2005 at 11:44pm

My friend is in need of styling tips, and I thought you guys might be able to help.  He really likes how his hair turned out in this pic, but he can't get it to do that everyday.  He thinks it might have been the humidity.  He's about a 1aNii

I'm afraid I'm a bit too old to be familiar with the routines for that style, but my guess would be a bit of mousse or aloe vera gel worked through the hair would give it that "just out of bed" look.

There's this stuff that VO5 makes that will almost certainly give your friend consistent results.  My student worker was just telling me about it yesterday.  He couldn't remember the exact name but knew that it was in the VO5 line up.  He made me mess up his hair on purpose just to prove that, with the VO5 product, the hair will stay wherever you put it!  I didn't like the feel of it in his  hair but if your friend isn't concerned with that then this should give him the results he wants.  There's also stuff called "Bedhead" or something like that--should do the same thing.

Yup  Grin that calls for stick'em stuff ... some of the pastes or waxes are really good for that kinda of thing ... remembering my very short hair days ...g
