Sakina, could you possibly describe how you did the 3rd hairstyle from the top, pictured in your recent "inspiring pics" ?  I think it is the one with Raspberry Frappe Gemstix.

Thanks so much!  Smiley

Christiana,

Believe it or not...that's a ponytail.  After making a basic pony with a clear elastic I took hair pins and/or bobby pins (probably some of both) and took small sections of hair and pinned them pointing toward the crown.  I typically do sort of a fan shape, so using not only hair from the top but also a bit of the sides so it blends into the rest of the hair a bit more smoothly.  The trick here is to section the hair (by what looks good, not making it too uniform) and while holding it w/one hand pin toward the ponytail w/the other hand.  I usually pin behind the elastic-I have plenty of hair to hide it.  Pinning this way will give the section lift and very little of the pin should show.  Do not pin across the hair or it will just flatten on you and not blend in.

Oh yeah!  Then add your hairstix!

I hope this make sense.

If you have more specific questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Good Luck!!!

Sakina

(Edited to add Oh yeah...)
