I feel twitchy guilt if I don't show up at least twice a day and answer every post I think I have anything at all to contribute too

I'm regaining my sense of fun in message boards

WAIT - those are reason why I'm NOT spending too much time Grin

...you keep your board "friends" and their posted worries in your mind, mulling things over, even though what you only know about them is their hair

... hearing about different oils all you are thinking of is whether it would be good food for your tail ends

... quoting board friends and their sayings irl you suddenly realise you can't quite explain where you heard that in english

...you don't remember your height or weight, but you remember precisely, how long your hair is, how long it will be when it reaches different body parts and how many weeks it will take to reach your goal length.

...you write "ACV" to your shopping list instead of "vinegar". This is especially alarming if your native tongue isn't English. Roll Eyes

...when police officer questions you about the appearance of the bank robber, you tell promptly that his hair was 1BMii .

...you have difficulty in remembering your relatives' birthdays, but can tell the exact date you started your new washing routine

...you haven't kept RL journal since you was a kid, but your hairjournal exceeds 20 pages.

...you own 1 bottle of oil for cooking and 5 for your hair

...and you are thinking, whether the oil you use for cooking would be nice for your hair too

...flash point, pH, and sequestering agent are not gobbledegook.

...people get all excited when you post pictures of the back of your head.

...your budget is out of control but you tell yourself it isn't because they're HAIR PURCHASES.

...you have a medical condition called "messageboard carpal tunnel" instead of plain "carpal tunnel syndrome".

...you suppress the urge to tell ladies shopping in the hair aisle, "You have F hair, it probably would be weighed down by the Garnier you're holding."

... while traveling, you've suppressed the urge to ask a stranger if you could take a picture of their hair.

...you have your hair all combed out and braided for the day, log in, before you even brush your teeth.

.. you go grocery shopping and the food list for your hair is larger than the list of food for your tummy

.. you worry when a board member has not posted at least once a day

.. you start comparing RL people's hair with board member's hair pictures

.. you spend twenty minutes preparing to take picture of the back of your head

Here's more

..you're eating at a Chinese restaurant and have to resist the urge to try the laquered chopsticks in your hair.

..when you get excited about getting disposable take-out chopsticks to practice with

..you try to reverse engineer the little ol' lady's updo at the pharmacy.. Then get annoyed with yourself because you can't figure it out.

.. owning one comb is just not acceptable

..a hairdresser with a brush freaks you out more than an axe murderer with an axe

This is just what happened to me yesterday! Still haven't figured out how that beautiful updo was made. Undecided

Here's a couple more.

...you have more hairtoys than any 5 people you know in RL, and you feel that your collection is really puny

...at least 3 strangers have started a hair discussion with you

Ooh I got some!

You really want to help a lady who has fried, frizzy, short hair at the check-out counter.

You run into a sign when you have a Sampson sighting. And then you -just can't wait- to post about it.

You know that "Peach Crisp", "Spearmint Ice", "Sweet Candy", "Plum Pizazz" and "Rose Frappe" are not ice cream flavors.
