Henna for hair
Aug 18th, 2005 at 5:57pm

I was wondering if anyone here has used henna from the henna for hair site?  I ordered some samples last nite and I'm a little nervous because I have chemically treated hair.  It is supposed to be safe.  I ordered the neutral kind that doesn't add color but, conditions .  Any input?  thanks in advance!

While I haven't tried to henna my hair, I've visited the Henna for Hair site and I think it would be a good idea to try the sample on the hairs that come off when you brush/comb. At least that way any negative reactions to henna won't happen to the hair that's still on your head.

Yep, doing a test is always a good idea!

Juri, what a clever idea! While I shan't be dying my hair or doing things that may be hurtful, I find that an excellent idea. Great use for that hair in the drain and on brushes.

Thanks, NR! *blush* Wish I could say that was my idea, but that's what Mehandi recommends so people don't get weird surprises that are hard to fix. Happy
