hello again...  I haven't posted in a while
Oct 3rd, 2005 at 11:49pm

Well, it has been about maybe a year and a half since I last posted. I am sad to say that I had let me hair grow past my shoulders but had to get it cut again because of my cancer treatments.
But, my hair is growing back again!  YAY!!!!  It is my goal to have my hair at least halfway to two thirds down my back.
My hair sticks are still in their little round container waiting for me. I look at them every so often.. I know I will be able to wear them one day!!   Cheesy
Good luck to everyone who is growing their hair long. I look at this website often for inspiration. I especailly love the Waterhouse paintings that are on the site... They give me inspiration also.

Good luck everyone!
Love,
Rhonda

ps  I broke the little end off of one of my sticks. Will this still be okay to wear once my hair grows out or will it slide out?

Welcome back Rhonda!

You must have posted previously under a different name since this user ID is not showing any other posts.

I'm sorry to hear you had to go through treatments that caused you to have to cut your hair.  I hope things are going better now.

As for your hair stick.  If the end is not sharp, you should still be able to use it.  I'll check with Susan to see if she has any other suggestions for smoothing out the tip.

Thanks to EVERYONE!!!  I think I did have another ID before, but I couldn't remember what it was..
I appreciate everyone's encouragement. My hair will grow back..  But, since I don't color my hair anymore at all, the small little grey hairs will grow back also!  ACK!    Wink

Hi Rhonda,
I also had cancer back in 2003.  While my hair was only shoulder length at that point, it still hurt losing it all.  Just this year I decided to grow it long.  So I know a little bit of what you're going through.  Let me know if I can help in any way.

Hi and nice to meet you. It's so inspiring that you have decided to grow your hair back. Cheesy

I once asked Susan about what to do if I break a hairstick (the post is somewhere here, I just don't remember the forum...), and she replied that it's possible to send them to her for repairing.  Smiley
