that's been a while!! happy new year everyone  Cheesy

37.6" - 95.5 cm, 0.4" or 1 cm nett growth. given i trimmed 0.5  - 1 cm last month, i won't complain. i am in a trimming mood. was thinking today about cutting another 3 - 5 cm but i think i will wait until i hit that meter of hair!

jan 14th: cut a few mm for thickening.

Yeah wait till you hit the metre!  Cheesy

I was told to post the measurements of  my hair in this thread....so I hope this is the right place to do that in!

The length of my hair is: 26inches long

WHOA!!  Shocked That puts my 2.6" to shame.  I don't know if I'm going to measure this month.  I might wait until February.

30.10 inches, so .90" of growth. Not quite the 1.0" I thought I got, but better than usual.

My annual measurement came up with just 44" (112cm).

As I figured, I had minimal growth this past year.  Roll Eyes I think I am in a resting phase.  I had planned on a trim a while back, but never got around to it, I think I need to just bite the bullet and trim an inch or two to clean up the ends that are so damaged.   Undecided

JUST 44"?  OMG Bikerbraid, I didn't realize your hair was THAT long - good for you!  Grin  You long outgrew the yardstick!

What is your hair goal, do you plan on growing it as long as you can?

My "just 44"" statement is in relation to my measurement a year ago of 41".  This means I'm getting only 1/4" a month.   Tongue

I have already reached the 2nd goal I had set for myself.  Initially I had the goal of waist, then my second goal was classic, which I reached this past year.

Due to the lack of growth this past year, I think I will work on trims to thicken the ends - removing the damaged ends.

Patience is the key to growing long hair!  (That or total ignorance  Grin )

then my second goal was classic

Ummm what does that mean "classic?" I've heard it mentioned a few times on the site, and not sure how long the classic length is meant to be?  ???

Classic length usually refers to hair that is to the bottom uf your rear end when you are standing.

Ahhhhh I see. I got some way to go before that happens Wink Mind you, I don't actually have a goal as to how long I want to grow my hair. I'm thinking about keeping it at waist-length...maybe a little lower than waist, and just trimming it every so often, so the hair stays healthy and not straggly.

Well, this is the real "26 (I counted funny in past months) I'm up to about an inch or so each month.
I'm trying to get my ends healthy without a trim. Jojoba oil, do your magic. I want my hair to be waist length by July for my wedding. So, I've got between 5 and 7 inches to go. *cross fingers, hoping  Cheesy

I got back an inch and a bit in under two months. Normal I guess. Tailbone will probably happen next year. It's ok, I'd like to try to maintain reasonably nice ends.

Today is Jan. 31st & I measure in at 25.25"  Grin

My last measure was Dec. 30th & I was at 24.75", so that's a 1/2 inch this month.  Only 3/4" to go till I hit my short term goal of 26". Yay, yay, yay!!!  Grin
