They're about $20 a piece (alittle pricey) I think I like the Conair comb ya use in the shower to distribute conditioner through the hair better! Just wonderin

Do you perhaps mean Mason Pearson handmade combs?

I have never used them, but they look very similar to the ones made by Rachael Stephens, which I use every day.
They are seamless & made from one solid piece of cellulose. I have the #45 which is a big rake comb with extra wide teeth, and the #36 handle comb with "coarse" teeth. The latter I use only to help coat the tips of my hair with my oil/water spray, the former I use for detangling wet hair. They work beautifully.

Although, this begs the question: Does anyone know if Rachael Stephens even makes combs anymore? They seem much harder to find these days!

oops! yes,that's it. I'm in a different part of the house and didn't bother to look at the darn thing. It is seamless and a not as wide tooth as I'd like it to be. I'd love to get the ones you're talking about of soemthing similiar. I use the Conair wide tooth one and it was far less expensive and works like a beaut! By the way,do you know how I can get some of those Bunjii hair holders? Or should I ask an opinion about them? Seems anything I've heard sounds good,but I can't find them.................

I have a Mason Pearson comb and I really like it when my hair is wet. I tend to use a wooden comb when my hair is dry. No particular reason except my hubby went a little overboard when I asked for a wooden comb--he bought me three, so I have to alternate uses Wink

I think the Bunjii maker went out of business...I haven't been able to find any either Sad

Too bad they went out of business. I did call the numbers I got off of a newsletter site and of course both the 800 number and 212 number were disconnected I've used the scruncii ponytail holders and scruncies ,but would like something different and better (if there is) any suggestions??

I am partial to velvet, velour & satin scrunchies myself.

But Goody makes these excellent hairties that are made from one solid piece of fabric...like a tube. There are no metal pieces or even that dab of glue that the metal-free ones have. I think the ones I'm referring to are part of the Ouchless line. ??? I believe they are 6 on a card. Some cards have all black, some have different colours.
In any case, I use these for swimming & braiding & they are excellent!

Those are the ones that I've been using. (The ouchless ones) They are great:) I did find that dab of glue on the ones by Scruncii. Not liking that at all. I'll have to see if Eckard or Rite Aide has an assortment of colors of the ouchless ones next time I'm there...... Ah,what a long haired girl must do!

I think I appreciated it more as my hair got longer. The only downside is that the teeth are square at the base, while the Madora Ivory comb's teeth aren't.

They are my favorite hair accessory, even though when I go out I usually use an ouchless band and I hide it with a hair accessory.

I'm gonna take a look at Eckard's or Rite Aide's stuff. Never saw them carry velvet or velour though....
P.S. the cure I found for headaches (regular ones or killer throw your self down the stairs for relief migraine ones) is Alternate Nostril Breathing. (It's a yoga thing) I would teach it to my students and family members....just a helpful thing:)
